The library has several databases that specifically cover pro/con or controversial issues for argumentative papers or speeches. In addition, the library has books on current issues that are great sources for this research.

Selected sources for argumentative or pro/con papers are listed in this Research Guide

Not finding sources to help you build an argument? You may need to broaden your search beyond the sources listed in the online research guide. Try searching for information on your topic in books and articles. When doing an article search in the library's article databases, try including terms like debate, ethicsethical, oppose or support.

Librarians can provide other research suggestions and sources if you're still not finding what you need. Call, text, chat, email, or come in for one-on-one research help.
