A good resource to use to learn how to use punctuation is the database LearningExpress Library. To access the list of databases, go to the LRC homepage and click on Databases, or click here. You will see a list of databases. Scroll down to LearningExpress Library and select it. If you are off campus, you will need to put in a username and a password. Your username is your 7-digit TCL ID and your password is the first initial of your first name followed by the last three digits of your social security number.
If you have never used LearningExpress Library before, click “Register” under “New Users.” Fill in the fields. For more details, view the LearningExpress LibGuide. If you already have an account, type in the username and password that you created for LearningExpress.
On the left side of the page, select “College Students” under “All Centers.” Then select “Writing and Grammar Skills Improvement.” This will open up four main categories where you can find e-books, e-tests, and e-courses that help you improve your grammar. Each category also has subcategories. Click on “Grammar Skills for Writing Courses.”
