Most books can be checked out for three weeks and renewed twice.
Books on reserve can usually be checked out for two weeks and cannot be renewed.
If you are worried that you may not be able to finish a book before it is due, do not despair! TCL students, faculty and staff can borrow books from any South Carolina college library, including the USC Beaufort Libraries.
Through a program called PASCAL Delivers, you can either order a book online from another college and pick it up at TCL, or walk in to any SC college library and use your TCL ID to check out books. This service is free. Books borrowed through PASCAL Delivers may be kept for six weeks, with one three-week renewal as long as the item has is not overdue and has no holds on it.
You can also use your TCL ID (with proof of mailing address) to get a borrower's card for the Beaufort County Library system.
If you have questions about due dates, please call the library at 843-525-8304.
