If you have already exported your course files (see How do I export a course?), you can import those files into a new course for use in another section.
Quick tip: To save on the amount of editing later, go ahead and remove any unnecessary menu items from your destination course shell prior to importing your course file. See the image below for a visual on how to delete items:
To import a course file, click on "Packages and Utilities" under the Course Management menu in the destination course.
On the next page, click "Import Package."
Now select the previously exported file from your computer or flash drive and select the type of content you want to import into the destination course. You can use the "Select All" option to save time.
Click "Submit" and you will see banner messages indicating the import progress...
Once the process completes, you can refresh or reload the page to see the results. Notice the course import included the previous course style settings.
If you did not remove any of the menu items from the destination course shell previously, the new course menu items from the source course will be at the bottom of the course menu (including all content within the course pages). You will need to go in and remove any duplicates and rearrange as necessary to get ready for the next term.
